WELCOME FROM THE OWNER
Welcome to Cannon Beach VillaView!
I’m Kim Villeneuve, and I’m thrilled to share this family-owned and operated vacation home with you. My connection to Cannon Beach runs deep—having grown up in Portland, with my grandfather living on Chapman Point and my parents later owning a home on Hemlock, where we created memories with our families for generations. When I was young, the town was a simpler place: just Duber’s Variety Store, Tommy’s Gas Station next to Bruce’s Candy Kitchen, and the post office. We spent many years waiting to find our own perfect home—somewhere with breathtaking views, where you could watch the waves crash against the beach, and still be within walking distance of our charming little town. Over 20 years ago, we found that place—VillaView. Since then, I’ve been on a mission not only to continue my family’s traditions but to create lasting memories for other families vacationing in Cannon Beach. The reviews of our home reflect what inspired me from my own experiences as a busy mom and executive, planning family getaways that too often felt more stressful than relaxing. For years, we struggled to find places that truly catered to families—lugging strollers, baby gear, and kitchen essentials was exhausting, and too many rentals felt impersonal and barely equipped. Unlike large rental platforms with “starter supply” policies, we focus on providing a seamless and thoughtful experience. From high-quality cookware and kitchen tools to pillow-top beds with fine linens, a fully a stocked laundry room and firewood for the Great Room or out on the beach. VillaView is designed to surprise and delight. With no hidden platform or host fees or impersonal policies, we aim to make your stay truly memorable. So, pack your beach clothes, bring some good food and wine, and let us take care of the rest. We’re here to make your time in Cannon Beach as relaxing, seamless, and special as it should be. Warmly, Kim |
